Coordinator for Engaging Humanities

Bio

I'm the Activity Coordinator for Engaging Humanities, CITRAL's new initiative in the humanities and fine arts. Prior to coming to UCSB, I worked as a community-based learning consultant at the University of Michigan and received teaching certificates from Michigan's Center for Research on Learning and Teaching and the Community-Engaged Academic Learning center. I am particularly interested in facilitating student learning through structured transparency and connecting the classroom to the world beyond it. My PhD is in Classical Art and Archaeology, and my archaeological research focuses on burial customs and identity in northern Greece as well as using soil analysis to study domestic spaces.

I enjoy dancing, reading, and dogs. Especially dogs
